Cultivating a sense of balance in our body has a profoundly positive effect over our mind and mood. Yet achieving this can be daunting and often seems just beyond our grasp. Yoga practice is a way to bring balance into our busy lives.
In this workshop, you’ll explore one of the fundamentals of our yoga practice; learning to align your body and mind to find balance in your regular asana practice.
The focus is on floor-based foundational techniques exploring alignment, pranayama and meditation. You’ll also do some partner work to help observe alignment corrections.

Whatever your level this workshop will help you improve your techniques for finding balance. The postures will be tailored to suit all levels in the room, with plenty of options for beginners and progressions available for regular practitioners.

Christine is a regular on our weekly timetable; you may have already attended one of her Yoga classes! She got hooked on yoga in 2012 and went on to complete her teacher training at Whitespace Studio, where she’s been teaching ever since. She brings a huge personality to her mat, always with a sense of humour and a big fat smile, not to mention a great soundtrack!
