Well Woman Yoga Workshop

Today’s frantic lifestyle often means that we fall into the habit of ‘getting on with it’, never allowing time and space to support ourselves as women. This leads to stress and imbalance as we ignore our unique feminine physiology and emotional needs, disrupting our natural cycle at whatever stage of our lives.

This peaceful candlelit evening workshop clicks the ‘pause’ button, combining practices to enliven, soothe, calm and reconnect, with a restful deep relaxation (yoga nidra). Nurturing vitality and encouraging awareness of our feminine wellbeing.

Inclusivity and Diversity
Explorations of the Feminine are inherently inclusive and as such these circles are open to all who identify as women including trans, non-binary or any other expression or identification of femininity. These circles value diversity of expression, experience and perspectives. Open to all ages, life stages and cycle phases.

What to Expect
This is a combination of therapeutic and enlivening practices, including yoga nidra (yoga sleep), meditation, Shakti (feminine energy) inspired flows and asanas, mudra (containing energy) and mantra (using our voice).

Who’s it For?
Designed for women of all ages, and levels of yoga experience, including beginners, Well Woman yoga will be especially helpful for those experiencing:

  • PMS, irregular menstrual cycle, PCOS or heavy bleeding
  • Fertility and conception difficulties
  • Post-natal emotional and physiological changes
  • Perimenopause symptoms
  • Post-Menopausal lifestyle changes

About Carly
Carly is a regular on our weekly timetable, you may have already attended one of her Yoga or Deep Relaxation classes! She ‘found’ yoga at the age of 17 and went on to complete her training at Whitespace Studio in 2016. In addition, she has completed the Well Woman Yoga Therapy course with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in 2017. She continues to deliver her unique style of teaching, and passion to promote a culture of inner listening and self-enquiry to students.
