Join experienced Senior Yoga Teacher Dawn Wright for this insightful workshop, where we will look at the nuts and bolts of not just being a yoga teacher, but a professional yoga business owner, learning how to keep in control of tax and earnings.
What to Expect
During this workshop, we will cover the important aspects of what you need to know about Self-employment and tax obligations, different types of tax due and allowable expenses (no – you can’t claim that pedicure ……). As well as helpful key skills like practical ways to keep records, how to organise your finances and how to plan your cash flow effectively.
We will also delve into your money mindset, looking at how beliefs around money can limit us. You’ll learn to price and package your offerings to ensure more financial stability and predictability and brainstorm ideas for new income streams. The day will be a combination of lecture, discussion and group exercises to leave you feeling more informed and empowered around your business finances.
Who’s it For?
Yoga teachers (qualified and currently in training) from any tradition with a minimum 200hr certification wanting to gain insight into how to run their business.
