About the Immersion
This Teaching Immersion into Yin Yoga creates space to explore the practice and experience of yin yoga. Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. In this Immersion, we will explore Yin Sequencing, Understanding the use of props and modifications in teaching Yin, Deeper teaching skills of language usage and holding space, The history and concepts of Yin Yoga, Chinese Meridian Theory, exploring fascia and skeletal variations in Yin, and Meditation practices.

The course includes a mixture of experiential Yin Practice, lectures, group discussions and teaching practice exercises – ensuring you to go away armed with everything you need to teach this wonderful and hugely popular style of yoga.

Are you eligible?
This Yin Teaching immersion is a welcome study immersion for new and established teachers to refresh, renew and to deepen their practice and study of anatomy, asana, pranayama, philosophy and consciousness. Yoga teachers seeking to refresh and enrich their teaching skills and personal practice, dedicated yoga students wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga, and health professionals keen to broaden their knowledge and skills.

Course Hours
24 contact hours
12 hour reading, research and DVD viewing
14 hours to include assignment, “om” work between training days, Yin practice, observation and/or teaching of Yin classes

Teaching Yin Yoga Training Accreditation
On completion of the course, graduates will receive a 50hr Whitespace Teaching Yin Certificate of Attendance.

Training hours can be used for Yoga Alliance or British Wheel continuing education (e.g. CPD points)Teaching Yin

Dawn is a Senior Yoga Teacher (YAP) with over 15 years of teaching experience, and many more years as a yoga practitioner in a wide range of yoga traditions. She has been a Tutor in the Teacher Training Faculty since 2012, and is known for her supportive, practical and informative approach to training. She provides Teacher Training across the spectrum, from Foundation Courses for new teachers, to qualified yoga teachers who want to expand their knowledge and skills.

We do expect this Yin Yoga Teacher Training course to fill up quickly and places are limited to ensure the best standard of training, and providing a personal and supportive learning experience. Bookings are all on a first come first served basis and confirmed on payment. Please make sure you have read and understood our Cancellation Policy before you book.  

Leaving the Training
It is our aim and policy to facilitate anyone who may be experiencing difficulties either with the training or in other areas of their life so they are able to complete the course. However, we understand that in some circumstances this is not possible and students have no choice other than to leave the course. In this instance we will be unable to give you a certificate or graduate you from the training, and your course fees cannot be refunded.
