These candle lit Staying Mindful Practice Group sessions are a chance to keep up with your practice and connect with other fellow minds in a beautiful setting of our studios. It’s a great way to unwind after work and recharge for the rest of the week.
The Staying Mindful Practice Group usually starts with a twenty-five minute silent meditation practice. The teacher will give a short talk and guide a discussion around a mindfulness related topic. This will be followed by a guided cultivation practice (e.g. gratitude, (self-) compassion, taking in the good, etc.) to finish. We hope to see you there!

This class is intended for people who already have a mindfulness practice. If you’re new to mindfulness we recommend that you start by attending an 8-Week Mindfulness Life Skills Course or one of our introductory sessions. Please see our Course Calendar for more information.
About the teacher
Chris Jones is an experienced trainer and consultant in the areas of Mental Health and Wellbeing. She has had a personal mindfulness meditation practice for the last 10 years and trained as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher with Bangor University.
She follows the good practice guidelines laid down by the UK Mindfulness Network, which includes ongoing supervision and training at Oxford Mindfulness Centre and attending regular teaching retreats and also silent retreats. She leads a variety of workshops and courses nationally and is committed to sharing these life changing practices with a wide range of participants.
