Deepen your mindfulness practice by spending an afternoon in silence – an opportunity to relax and reflect in a peaceful environment where nothing is demanded of us.
In our busy lives we are constantly faced with the need to react quickly with answers and opinions which overloads our nervous systems. Spending an afternoon in silence, with the support of our Mindfulness Teacher and other students, will provide an opportunity to explore the benefits of taking time to be by yourself in a nurturing way.
What to Expect
- The retreat will begin with a brief introduction, an opportunity for questions and discussion followed by 2.5 hours of guided mindful meditation (movement, sitting & lying down) plus readings.
- Two x 20-minute mindful (and silent) tea-breaks will be included.
- You will be required to switch off your mobile phone – please make others aware that you will not be contactable for 4 hours.
Expect to leave with increased focus and enhanced self-soothing and nurturing techniques – equipping yourself to return to the challenges of modern life.
