About the Event
This 4 Week Introduction to Ashtanga course introduces the basic techniques and principles of Ashtanga Yoga, a series of classical poses linked by vinyasa (movement between yoga poses), coordinating breath with movement. This dynamic form of yoga is renowned for its ability to detoxify and strengthen while encouraging flexibility and bringing balance to the mind and body.
We will explore the opening postures of the Primary Series, working to master the breath and develop core strength, flexibility and fluidity in the body. As we undergo a subtle but powerful transformation we will learn how yoga can be applied to the rest of our lives, for your physical health and emotional and spiritual well-being.

Ros started practising yoga in 2011 and has been a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner ever since. She’s attended workshops with many internationally renowned teachers – and while she takes yoga seriously, she insists that yoga is huge fun.
