To launch the introduction of our Gentle Somatics drop-in class, Ali is offering a free 1 hour taster class, Whether you just fancy a change from your usual class, or you’re curious to explore Gentle Somatic techniques, this is the perfect opportunity to come and experience our new class.
What to Expect
Mindful Somatic movements, combined with meditation and breathwork, are done on the floor in a flowing style, without any force.
The exercises are non-weight bearing and involve slow controlled sliding, gliding and circular movements designed to unlock deeply held patterns of stress and imbalance.

No previous experience required. Extremely beneficial for supporting our body’s innate ability to heal and repair, as well as helping those suffering from fatigue, stress, trauma, insomnia, restlessness and distress

Committed to teaching yoga as a pathway to embodied wellbeing and awareness, Ali teaches with a balance of wisdom, humour and passion. She is particularly interested in using somatic and relaxation techniques to help students develop capacity for inhabiting the mind-body with awareness and compassion. Ali is a regular teacher on the Whitespace weekly schedule, as well as a Senior Yoga Teacher (YAP).
