First Aid for Yoga Teachers

“Gain your Emergency First Aid in the Workplace One day Certificate”

This workshop focuses on the types of emergency which a teacher may come across in an everyday class – including fainting, epilepsy, asthma and heart conditions – and will cover all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid.
By the end of the session, you will have gained your HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at work qualification, valid for 3 years.
A current first aid certificate is a requirement of most teachers’ insurance, along with many Wellbeing Employers.  The course is worth 6 CPD points.

What to Expect
Whilst the workshop focuses on serious first aid issues, it’s also guaranteed to be experiential and fun! Suitable for all self-employed yoga, pilates and fitness teachers, and anyone else who requires an Emergency First Aid at work qualification

Whitespace Teachers and 200hr Trainees get £10 discount. Please call or book in-house for this option.

Who’s it for?
Yoga, Plates and Fitness teachers, body workers and wellbeing practitioners. Please note you will need to attend 100% of this course to gain a certificate.

Liz Behnke is an experienced Sports Development Officer who is well respected as a trainer and facilitator.  Liz is also an expert in safeguarding and develops and delivers first aid training, safeguarding policies and strategies.
