About the Retreat:
Join Deborah for this life-changing retreat. Those of you who have joined her on retreat before will know we go deep and reconnect to ourselves in a way that is incredibly life-affirming. So often we lose our way, forget what lights us up or we get stuck on a trajectory we don’t know how to change.
This time ‘re-treating’ in nature can help us get back on track with what really matters to us, what truly lights us up!
Deborah is offering you a unique opportunity to return back home, get quiet with yourself so that the heart can get loud and resolute once again.

She’ll be using many tools to take us on this journey – held in a safe and supportive environment for this work of “coming back home to ourselves.”

Time in Nature
Dharma talks on life, the struggles, and joys of being human

About the Retreat Location in Canada

Birchmore is set within 30 acres of private mature woodland. Surrounded on three sides by the waters of MacGregor Lake, with a path that leads down to two private docks on the lake shore.

The home has a large open plan living/dining area with cathedral ceilings and views of the Lake, as well as a dedicated Shala Room, screen porch and large sun deck.

Macgregor Lake is but one of many lakes that form part of Canada’s vast “Shield” – formed by the last Ice Age and carved from ancient granite.

The current owners of the Private Home ‘Birchmore’ are direct descendants of one first families to build on the Lake, which is now home to both seasonal cottages and year-round residents seeking peace and nature – all just an hour from the nation’s capital.

Ottawa itself, sits just over the mighty Ottawa River in Ontario, but reflects both English and French cultures. With a population of just over 1 million, the city is small by comparison to Toronto or Montreal and houses the National Museum and Art Gallery – with several traditional open street markets and beautiful parks making a day-trip a worthwhile excursion from the quiet seclusion of the Lake. The nearby Gatineau National Park offers some beautiful walks and cycle trails, with stunning views of the Champlain Valley and the city.
