So how DO you find more love?

Being loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

love is a tough one because it’s something we both give and receive—and so often it’s much easier to dwell on the love we’re not getting than to recognise the love we’re not giving.
To be loved is one of most basic and important human needs and yet we often believe that it is something that comes from an external connection with someone else or something. The truth is that love starts with ourselves, self-love right here, right now.

Without love and acceptance of ourselves first, our ability to love and accept others and the world becomes limited. How can we give unconditional love if we don’t feel it for ourselves? It’s not easy, the path to self-love is often clouded with thoughts of self-doubt and insecurity but when we get there it is allows us to tap into a limitless supply of warmth, passion and inspiration.

Oprah Winfey famously said “I believe that every single event in life that happens is an opportunity to choose love over fear.” So in the name of love, lets start today as a collective and set an intention to approach everything this month; yourself, your loved ones, your job, your yoga practice from a place of love. When our actions are driven by love, we tap into a space that reminds us love is unconditional, limitless, indefinable and powerful. Love REALLY IS all we need.
