Whether you are just starting out on your journey as a Yoga Teacher, seeking to enhance your existing teaching skills or simply wish to develop your personal practice, our Teaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training will provide you with the tools to enrich your practice and teach authentically, grounded both in self-awareness and experiential knowledge.
Restorative Yoga is one of the most wholesome and non-dogmatic approaches to yoga today and is gaining increasing appreciation among practitioners all over the world.
Join the brilliant Deborah Berryman for an experience that will deepen your understanding of your body, introducing you to the practice and concepts of Restorative Yoga and how it interweaves with traditional yoga practices.
Teaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training Content + Structure
This 50hrTeaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training creates space for exploration and study. Restorative Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today, but also useful as a stand-alone healing practice. In this Immersion, we will explore Restorative practice, the Nervous System & Organs, Yoga Anatomy & Physiology, the Art of Teaching Restorative and Teaching Restorative Yoga as a Therapy.
Deborah will share her experience and the tools of the practice, exploring how to relax and rest deeply. Each day will include Restorative Practice as well as Meditation and Self-reflection. You will be required to have your own daily practice during the course as well as journaling.
The entireTeaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training course is taught by Yoga Alliance Professionals Senior Yoga Teacher, Deborah Berryman.
Are you Eligible?
This course is a welcome study immersion for training, new and established yoga teachers to refresh, renew and to deepen their practice and study of anatomy, asana, pranayama, philosophy, mindfulness and consciousness.
It’s also open to dedicated yoga students (minimum of 2 years consistent practice) wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga, and health professionals keen to broaden their knowledge and skills (please note, this wouldn’t certify you as a Yoga Teacher).
The course is a 50 hour course, which is made up of the following.
• 24 contact teaching hours
• 10 hour reading and reflection
• 16 hours assignment including case study research, writing, practice and journaling
Teaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training Accreditation
Whitespace is a registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals. This demonstrates that our studio has met excellent standards in both teaching and the facilities, as well as the events that we run.
On completion of the course, graduates will receive a 50hr Whitespace Restorative Certificate of Attendance.
Training hours can be used for Yoga Alliance or British Wheel continuing education (e.g. CPD points)
All of the course dates are held at our beautiful, light filled dedicated yoga studios in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes – right in the heart of the UK. This is the perfect environment to immerse yourself in this wonderful practice and share experiences with like-minded people.
In this training she shares her experience and the tools of the practice, exploring how to relax and rest deeply.
She is a founder and senior faculty member of Whitespaces’ 200hr Teacher Training program and holds the highest level of certification from Yoga Alliance (SYT), as well as Mindfulness MBSR Teacher (Bangor University) and British Wheel of Yoga Diploma (BWY).
Deborah is also the Founder and Director of Whitespace Studio. Highly experienced, she is passionate about yoga and sharing the benefits of a regular, self-healing and meaningful practice.
All of our teachers are carefully picked for their outstanding knowledge and teaching skill, and for their dedication to students’ learning.
We do expect this Teaching Restorative Yoga Immersion Training course to fill up quickly and places are limited to ensure the best standard of training, and providing a personal and supportive learning experience. In the event of cancellation:
60 days or more prior to the course start date:
Your payment will be refunded, less 10% admin fee
31 – 59 days prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable, but are transferable to a future whitespace training, workshops or classes (less 10% admin fee).
30 days or less prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable or transferable, unless your place can be filled from a waiting list (less 20% admin fee).
Leaving the Training
It is our aim and policy to facilitate anyone who may be experiencing difficulties either with the training or in other areas of their life so they are able to complete the course. However, we understand that in some circumstances this is not possible and students have no choice other than to leave the course. In this instance we will be unable to give you a certificate or graduate you from the training, and your course fees cannot be refunded.
