Learn how to Relax and Rest Deeply

If you’re keen to explore a practice to slow the body and mind down, Senior Yoga Teacher Deborah Berryman runs a wonderful and wholesome Restorative Yoga Teacher Training and 4-day immersion. Deborah Berryman has been a devoted student of Judith Lasater, and one of the few people in the UK to complete Judith’s Advanced Restorative Teacher Training.

Deborah will share her experience and the tools of the practice, exploring how to relax and rest deeply.  Each day will include Restorative Practice as well as Meditation and Self-reflection. You will be required to have your own daily practice during the course as well as journaling.

Whether you are just starting out on your journey as a Yoga Teacher, seeking to enhance your existing teaching skills or simply wish to develop your personal practice, our Restorative Yoga Teacher Training immersion will provide you with the tools to enrich your practice and teach authentically, grounded both in self-awareness and experiential knowledge.

Restorative Yoga is one of the most wholesome and non-dogmatic approaches to yoga today. As our world speeds up, and our need to slow-down because of a health necessity, Restorative Yoga is gaining increasing appreciation among teachers and practitioners all over the world.

This teaching Immersion into Restorative Yoga creates space for exploration and study. Restorative Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today, but also useful as a stand-alone healing practice. The 4-day Restorative Yoga Teacher Training immersion will refresh, renew and deepen your practice and study.

In this Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Immersion, you will explore:

  • Restorative practice
  • The Nervous System & Organs
  • Yoga Anatomy & Physiology
  • The Art of Teaching Restorative
  • Therapeutic Applications

On completion of the course and assignment, graduate Yoga Teachers will receive a Whitespace 50hr Restorative Teaching Certificate. Non-Teachers can receive a Certificate of Attendance upon request.

I’ve had the best 4 days in a long time! The delivery of the course was beyond my expectations. Deborah was friendly, had lots of empathy and connected with us as individuals. Joanne Pegna
