My favourite way to spend my free time is…
Spending time at the end of each day walking in the beautiful local woodlands with my dog ,it’s the perfect way to unwind and ﬁnd perspective on the days activities. The things I love most are… Family and friends; the road to either’s house is never too long
The reason I ﬁrst came to yoga is..
Like many people I took my ﬁrst class at my local gym, without really knowing what I was seeking. Luckily the ﬁrst teacher I had was inspiring and I was hooked from the get-go. Over the years I have revisited that ﬁrst yoga moment many times whenever I’ve tried out different classes, the beauty of yoga is there’s always something new to learn.

What’s your favourite pose and why?
Am I allowed to have two? My ﬁrst is Dancer’s Pose; it’s such a perfect combination of balance and strength, no matter what level you achieve it still feels grounding. My second favourite is Tree because anytime I need to feel some instant calm and focus it’s pose works for me.
The biggest thing Yoga has taught you?
Patience; wherever I am in my practice is exactly where I’m meant to be, nothing more is required in that moment
A fun fact about you….
In 2017 after a lifelong fear of water I conquered my phobia and learnt to swim.
