My favorite way to spend my free time is ….
apart from practising yoga, being with friends and family, being out in the fresh air preferably by the sea, running and walking wherever there are trees and wild flowers, making soup
The thing I love most is…..
my friends and family especially my niece and nephew, my teddy that i still have from when I was very little, my old record collection, my yoga
The reason I first came to yoga is …..
My body combat class was cancelled at the gym so I went to Yoga instead and was instantly ‘hooked’ and never looked back. It has become an integral part of my life and even a place of refuge sometimes.
The next step on my yoga journey is…
To get back on my mat in class more and to continue to learn from and be inspired by all the amazing teachers who teach the classes that I attend. To further develop and grow as a yoga teacher, to read and study more yoga books and one day, to go on a retreat.

What’s your favourite pose and why?
Ardha Chandrasana – Half Moon – I love the preparation leading up to this pose and the feeling of balance and strength it gives me.
The biggest thing Yoga has taught you?
To open my heart and to not be so impatient, to let things happen in their own time, your body will release and move when it is ready. Same as in life really!
A fun fact about me…
I am a fully qualified reindeer driver (I really do have the licence to prove it), always a handy skill to have when in the Arctic Circle or thereabouts!
