My style and approach to teaching yoga
I teach hatha flow with lots of energy, an honest voice and a big old smile.  My approach is to encourage students to work with movement and really feel in to each pose to try and find a link with the breath.  The mat is my favourite place to explore ideas, with my classes centred around anything that has caught my attention, got me thinking and most importantly helping to connect with how we feel.  I like to play with the idea of taking what we learn from yoga and applying that to our modern fast paced lives so we can apply a little dose of happiness, calm and balance whenever we feel we might need it.

My experience and training so far
Yoga found me in 2012 and from then I’ve been hooked! I decided I wanted to share this amazing thing with as many people as possible and started my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 right here at Whitespace and have been teaching hatha and hatha flow classes ever since.

The special quality I bring to Whitespace
Yoga is constantly teaching me and I love that journey. So, I guess I bring the quality of understanding, from a teacher that is always learning and growing with you.

My favourite thing about working at Whitespace
The awesome sense of community and getting to teach and practice in such a beautiful space (I love those big windows… especially when the sun is flooding in).

A fun fact about me
I ran from one side of the country to the other along Hadrian’s Wall in one day.
