What’s the difference between Baby Bumpkin and Baby & Me classes?
Baby Bumpkin classes are focused on the unique relationship between the parent/carer and the baby. Although there is some yoga inspired movement (stretching, laughing, moving and relaxing), this is done in conjunction with the special stimuli Julie uses during the session. This is based around a different story each week, which is woven together with music and play to stimulate the baby.
All the techniques Julie teaches are specifically designed to promote relaxation, aid digestion and develop bonds with the baby in a cosy supportive environment.
Baby & Me classes are specially designed to give Mums some much needed time to enjoy a gentle, post-natal yoga sequence, in the company of their baby. This helps to strengthen and tone the body after birth, including some work on pelvic floor exercises, releasing tense shoulder and back muscles, and stabilising the pelvis. While Mums are enjoying some me-time there is music and movement to keep the babies happy and content.
The studio is a safe, confidential space allowing for a very relaxed and fluid class, with space and time to feed and change babies whenever needed.
