Yin Yoga Teacher Training Content + Structure

This Teaching Immersion into Yin Yoga creates space for exploration and study. Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. In this Immersion, we will explore Yin Sequencing, Chinese Meridian Theory, Yoga Anatomy in terms of skeletal variations, Mindfulness Meditation Skills and Practices together with Psychological Enquiry.  Each day will include experiential Yin Practice as well as Meditation Practices.  You will be encouraged to start your own daily Meditation practice during the course as well as to make personal diary notes of your meditation.

Are you Eligible?

This course is a welcome study immersion for new and established yoga teachers to refresh, renew and to deepen their practice and study of anatomy, asana, pranayama, philosophy, mindfulness and consciousness.

It’s also open to dedicated yoga students (minimum of 2 years consistent practice) wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga, and health professionals keen to broaden their knowledge and skills.

Additional Hours:

  • 12 hour reading, research and DVD viewing
  • 14 hours assignment including Meditation, Yin practice, observation and/or teaching of Yin classes (to be noted) and journalling

Accreditation

Whitespace is a registered Centre of Excellence with Yoga Alliance Professionals.  This exclusive accolade demonstrates that as a Registered Centre of Excellence, our studio has met excellent standards in both teaching and the facilities, as well as the events that we run.

On completion of the course, graduates will receive a 50hr Whitespace Yin Teaching Certificate. Training hours can be used for Yoga Alliance or British Wheel continuing education (e.g. CPD points)

All of the course dates are held at our beautiful, light filled dedicated yoga studios in Milton Keynes – right in the heart of the UK. This is the perfect environment to immerse yourself in this wonderful practice and share experiences with like-minded people.

Yin Yoga Teacher

Sarah Lo has been endorsed by Sarah Powers as an Insight Yoga Teacher, one of just a few teachers in the world to receive this honour. She is also a Yoga Alliance certified Senior Yoga Teacher (SYT). Yoga Alliance UK have the highest standards of teaching, and SYT status is the pinnacle of the yoga teacher career path combining training and experience. Sarah is also on the faculty of Insight Yoga managing admissions for Teacher Training and retreats. She is a senior Assistant to Sarah Powers for her Level 2 and 3 trainings.  Sarah is also a Certified Integral Development Life Coach with New Ventures West.

Booking

We do expect this course to fill up quickly and places are limited to ensure the best standard of training, and providing a personal and supportive learning experience. Full payment is required to secure your place (please see above).

Booking Terms & Conditions

In the event of cancellation:

60 days or more prior to the course start date:
Your payment will be refunded, less 10% admin fee

31 – 59 days prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable, but are transferable to a future whitespace training, workshops or classes (less 10% admin fee).

30 days or less prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable or transferable, unless your place can be filled from a waiting list (less 20% admin fee).

Leaving the Training
It is our aim and policy to facilitate anyone who may be experiencing difficulties either with the training or in other areas of their life so they are able to complete the course. However, we understand that in some circumstances this is not possible and students have no choice other than to leave the course. In this instance we will be unable to give you a certificate or graduate you from the training, and your course fees cannot be refunded.
