Presented by Yoga Alliance Professionals Training Academy
Teaching a multi-level class with grace is the hallmark of an experienced teacher. Take your teaching to the next level and learn the skill of offering both safe and inspiring classes for students of all experience levels.
In reality, every class is multi-level as students’ progress in different ways. As teachers, we know this, but most of us get stuck in the ‘safety zone’ of teaching to one level. In this half day event, Dawn will give you all the tools you need to deliver inspiring, progressive and well thought out classes to students of all levels.
Together we will:
- Explore how intelligent sequencing can enhance your students’ experience and understanding of yoga on all levels.
- Look at how we can use Vinyasa Krama to ‘turn down’ or ‘build up’ asanas
- Use techniques and “tricks of the trade” for how to teach different levels safely and confidently.
How will Dawn teach?
Through a combination of small group teaching practice, observation and discussion, this workshop equips you with the knowledge and skills to take your teaching and personal practice to a new level. Nurture your students’ spirit of discovery, as you BOTH gain a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence from meeting new challenges. A MUST for any teacher!
