In these delicious monthly Blissfest sessions we’ll start to unwind with Restorative yoga – a powerful, therapeutic style of yoga that uses bolsters and blankets to support the body – known to improve digestion, reduce muscle tension, help insomnia and general fatigue, and encourages deep relaxation. We’ll then enjoy Yoga Nidra, a ‘Yogic Sleep’ to induce full body relaxation and a deep meditative state of consciousness. This is particularly beneficial if you are feeling tired, run down, stressed or exhausted. After 2 delicious hours of practice, we finish with a relaxed gathering with lovely warm cup of Chai Tea!
All of these practices help to relieve the effects of negative stress we all experience in daily life, and can be great in times of fatigue, illness, overwhelm and emotional strain. We’ll calm and nurture ourselves on all levels during the class.
