This workshop focuses on the types of emergency which a yoga teacher may come across in an everyday class – including fainting, epilepsy, asthma and heart conditions – and will cover all aspects of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and basic first aid.
Whilst the workshop focuses on serious first aid issues, it’s also guaranteed to be experiential and fun! Suitable for all self-employed teachers and anyone else who requires an Emergency First Aid at work qualification.
By the end of the session you will have gained your HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at work qualification, valid for 3 years. A current first aid certificate is a requirement of most teachers insurance, along with many Wellbeing employers. The course is worth 6 CPD points.
Who’s it for?
Yoga teachers from any tradition or training with a minimum RYT200 certification who require First Aid Certification to support their teacher status. Anyone from a wellbeing or body work background who requires a first aid certificate for their employment. Please note you will need to attend 100% of this course to gain a certificate.
