8 Week Mindfulness CourseOur eight week Mindfulness course blends together the skills contained in both MBSR and MBCT and is designed to help you learn new ways of handling difficult physical sensations, feelings and moods. The core skill that you will learn is ‘mindfulness’; a way of paying attention, on purpose and non-judgmentally, to what goes on in the present moment in your body, mind, and the world around you.

Who’s it for?
Most of us can benefit from developing Mindfulness and people attending events are men and women from all walks of life, office workers to sports people. Our groups comprise individuals, interested in methods of self-help or those referred by professionals. The MBSR programme is known to help with a wide range of problems, both physical and psychological, and greatly enhance your capacity to cope. The course is useful for anyone who is ready to look directly into themselves and learn new ways of responding to what life brings.

Chris Jones is an experienced trainer and consultant in the areas of Mental Health and Wellbeing. She has had a personal mindfulness meditation practice for the last 4 years and trained as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher with Bangor University.  She follows the good practice guidelines laid down by the UK network and leads a variety of workshops and courses both nationally and in Milton Keynes.

Mindfulness Taster Session

Our Mindfulness Taster session will give you the opportunity to meet the teacher and a taster of Mindfulness techniques, comprising of a mixture of short Mindfulness practices, discussion and reflection, and information about Mindfulness. The workshop is open to everyone – from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.  Spaces on this workshop are limited and so will need to be pre-booked and pre-paid. Your payment will be refunded, less 10% admin fee

31 – 59 days prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable, but are transferable to a future Whitespace training, workshops or classes (less 10% admin fee).

30 days or less prior to the start date:
Payments are not refundable or transferable, unless your place can be filled from a waiting list (less 20% admin fee).
