Enjoy the community of other new mums while in a comfortable setting where you may feed or change your baby as needed. Designed for newborns to walkers.
Baby bumpkin classes are Yoga inspired classes, which encourage movement, development and feelings of calm. Enjoy stretching, laughing, moving and relaxing together with our unique stories and music. You will learn techniques to relax your baby stretch their bodies and stimulate their minds. All this knowing that your qualified teacher is applying the underlying developmental principals of the Early Years Foundation Stage
The class is based around a Yoga story and whilst you will enjoy stretching and exercising with your baby. The class is mainly aimed at the babies but Mum gets a stretch too! We will enjoy music, actions and relaxation with your baby in a relaxing and supportive environment. You will learn techniques to relax, aid digestion and bond with your baby.
Classes are suitable for newborn to mobile babies (up to 18 months), in a warm and friendly atmosphere, promoting enjoyment and confidence in the handling of your baby and in ways of relating to them. The shared experience for both parent and baby encourages early bonding and creates a secure and happy foundation of well-being.
Day and Time:
Monday 11.30am-12.45pm (baby to crawling)
Monday 1pm - 2.15pm (baby to crawling)
Wednesday 09.45am - 11.00am (crawlers to walkers)
Wednesday 11.15am - 12.30pm (babies to crawling)

Please bring your baby in a footless garment to class and ensure you have drink available for both of you.

Dads are very welcome too and will benefit equally from the yoga and the interaction with their baby. There is time for discussion and to make new friendships. Many parents and babies meet afterwards in the cafe for coffee or lunch. A wonderful opportunity to find the support you may need through the first months and to have some fun with your baby too!
